Morning Sessions
As a reminder, our morning practice sessions start this coming monday at the following times.
June 15 - July 14 Morning
11+ 8:30 - 9:15
6 Under 9:15 - 9:45
7-10 9:15 - 10:00
Parents are encouraged to get their swimmers to as many sessions as possible. As an incentive to the kids, we do have donut days on Tuesdays morning sessions before the meet to encourage attendance as well.
TSA Notes
Lastly we a note from Glenda Dozier who serves as our TSA rep. For those who don't know, TSA is the governing body of our swim league. They have established rules that we would like everyone to be aware of:
-TSA rules rules prohibit cell phone or other video devices from being consulted to score a race.
- Scoring is determined by swimmers’ times and the official timing system of the facility - As backup, the Order of Finish Judges will be used in case of timing errors. It may not be a perfect system, but it works pretty well most of the time.
Also as a reminder, the calls of the Stroke and Turn judges are final. Please refrain from arguing with or questioning them, all staff at meets volunteers and are doing their best.
I have always taken pride in the behavior and sportsmanship of our team. I appreciate all of you! If you have any questions or concerns about the rules or how a meet is run, please don’t hesitate to give reach out to Dan or Kate, and we can discuss.
