Registration deadline is today!

Just a reminder that registration is set to close today.  If you end up registering after May 8th, your child will still be allowed to swim, but they may receive their team t-shirt, swim cap, and towel (if they ordered a towel) late as we have to have the order in this week.

Volunteering for Swim Meets

I will be sending out a volunteer sign-up genius next week for the first three swim meets.  Please remember that in order to run swim meets we need all families to volunteer a minimum of three meets.  If you have not volunteered for any of the first three meets, I will add your name on the sign-up genius to volunteer for the last three meets.

Changes with QH and the TSA Meet 

The end of season TSA Championship meet is the weekend of July 22-23.  We will swim either Saturday, July 22 or Sunday, July 23 (the league has not let us know which day as of yet).

In the past it has been the team's policy to invite four boy swimmers and four girl swimmers from each age group to the TSA meet.  

However, this season we will not be continuing that policy.  This summer any QH swimmer who wants to participate in the TSA meet will be allowed to swim.  6 and unders are required by the league to be able to swim a full lap as there will be NO kid catchers at the meet.  

This meet is a great experience for every child who attends.  It is held at the Triangle Aquatic Center, and we will swim against teams from all over Wake County.  Regardless of how fast your child is or how high they would place at the meet, I would encourage you to keep this meet in mind for your child as we get through the swim season.

We will send out more information as we get closer to the July 22-23 date, but I wanted to update you all in regards to our team's policy change for how swimmers are selected for this meet.
