Swim Team Service Project 

Please join us for a swim team service project on Wednesday, November 23 from 10 am - 12 pm. During this time swimmers will be making donation bags for Haven House Services of Raleigh as well as making notes of encouragement for those in need.

Haven House Services is the place where youth who need help find it. Founded in 1973, Haven House operates 11 programs that help more than 1,200 youth in need each year overcome their challenges and find a path to success. Whether they are experiencing homelessness, a crisis at home or school, gang involvement, or problems involving the juvenile justice system, we help youth identify their goals, connect with needed resources, and build skills needed for long-term success. 

The goal is to make at least 10 care packages filled with everyday use items that could help someone in need.  The sign-up genius link is listed below:

Many of the requested items can be purchased at the Dollar Store or in bulk at local stores or online. If all requested items get filled, more slots will be made open for additional items to be donated. 

We understand that this is a holiday week and many swimmers might not be able to attend. However, families can still participate by donating items prior to the event.  Starting on Wednesday, November 16 a box will be placed outside the clubhouse for all items to be dropped off.
